Madiba began in NY 8 years ago as a South African pavilion also referred to as a ‘Shebeen’; the informal social halls wherein South Africans leave the work day behind to embrace joy, laughter, community, and a little beer to boot. Like the original Madiba restaurant itself, our Catering & Event Production division is both a gateway and a much missed opportunity for enjoyment that is nothing short of ‘home’; wherever that home may be.
